Qu’est-ce qu’une longe avec absorbeur d’énergie ?

L’absorbeur d’énergie est un dispositif intégré à la longe qui se déploie partiellement lors d’une chute pour dissiper l’énergie cinétique. Il se présente généralement sous la forme d’une enveloppe en tissu à déchirure contrôlée. Après déclenchement (déchirement visible), la longe doit impérativement être mise au rebut et remplacée.

 

Les types de longes de sécurité

Longe simple (1 branche

pour les postes de travail fixes où l’opérateur reste en contact permanent avec son ancrage. Longueur standard : 1 m à 2 m.

Longe double en Y (2 branches)

indispensable pour les déplacements le long d’une structure. Une branche reste accrochée pendant que l’autre est déplacée sur l’ancrage suivant, assurant une protection continue sans jamais être décroché.

Longe réglable

pour le maintien en position de travail sur une surface inclinée (toiture, pente). La longueur se règle pour tenir l’opérateur en appui contre la structure.

La notion de tirant d’air : calcul obligatoire

Le tirant d’air est la distance minimale nécessaire sous le point d’ancrage pour que la longe + absorbeur + harnais + taille du travailleur puissent arrêter la chute avant contact avec un obstacle. Avec une longe de 2 m + absorbeur déployé de 1,75 m, le tirant d’air minimal est d’environ 6,25 m. Ce calcul est obligatoire avant tout choix d’équipement.

 

Normes applicables : EN 354 et EN 355

Tous les équipements Fores Safety sont certifiés CE conformément à ces normes. La conformité est vérifiable sur l’étiquette cousue à chaque équipement.

 

Inspection et remplacement des longes

Fores Safety réalise l’étude, la fourniture et la pose de vos lignes de vie verticales conformément aux normes EN 353-1 et EN 353-2. Un certificat de conformité est délivré à l’issue de l’installation. Une vérification annuelle est recommandée pour maintenir la validité de la certification.
